Prepare your laser cleaning enquiry.
Use this checklist to describe the workpiece and the result you need before discussing equipment or a sample evaluation.
What to include
- Base material
- Identify the substrate and surface layers you want to preserve.
- Coating or contaminant
- Describe what needs removing. Include photos and known thickness or composition where available; mark unknown information as unknown.
- Part size and geometry
- Record dimensions, access restrictions and whether the part can be moved.
- Required finish
- Explain the next operation and how an acceptable surface will be assessed.
- Daily workload
- Describe quantities or surface area and available working time.
- Destination country
- Identify the delivery destination so applicable documentation can be discussed.
- Sample test request
- State whether a representative sample is available. Agree scope, shipping and acceptance criteria before sending it.
