APPLICATION REVIEW / EVIDENCE PENDING

Marine Surface Cleaning — Coating and Access Review

Separate the coating-removal objective from vessel access and the next maintenance operation. No shipyard project, marine approval or verified cleaning rate has been supplied for this page.

01 / DEFINE THE ACTUAL TASK

Workpiece and removal target

Component to confirm

State whether the proposed work concerns a removable steel panel, deck fitting or another named vessel component. Supply the component drawing, access photographs and maintenance location; none is an established CleanEraser case.

Layer to identify

Provide the coating history and an analysis of the layer proposed for removal. Confirm the presence and extent of corrosion rather than relying on a general marine-service description.

02 / SELECTION STATUS

Equipment type and selection rationale

No continuous-wave machine is recommended on the present evidence. Industrial CW is linked for a workload and utility review, while Portable Pulse is linked for a separate access and transport discussion. Neither concept confirms onboard operation or suitability for the coating.

03 / BEFORE A PROCESS IS APPROVED

Process variables and approval boundaries

Treatment boundary

Map the actual area, remaining coating and edge transitions to be inspected.

Site arrangement

Submit access, containment and available utilities for the yard's assessment; movement and operation need separate review.

Next coating step

Ask the coating owner to specify the surface condition and inspection records required before recoating.

04 / PROPOSED, NOT A COMPLETED CASE

Suggested test workflow (建议测试流程)

  1. Give an identified removable sample the same coating history as the proposed component and obtain permission for evaluation.
  2. Have the yard and coating owner agree the treatment boundary, sampling method and recoating acceptance criteria before equipment selection.
  3. Record the approved trial configuration, treated area, elapsed work stages and surface inspection results without extrapolating to an entire vessel.
  4. Review the evidence with the yard; document separately whether further site assessment or coating-system testing is required.
05 / EVIDENCE TO ADD

Images, video and documents

Pending: component location photographs cleared by the vessel owner, a labeled trial-panel recording and a coating inspection report. No shipyard footage or report is available to download.

Evidence basis: the project content and asset registers contain no verified case or approved media for this industry. Product links lead to concept reviews, not qualification evidence. The questions and workflow above are editorial proposals for review, not recorded results.

06 / APPLICATION-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

Questions for Shipbuilding & marine

Does a panel test approve work onboard a ship?

No. A sample result would cover the documented panel and conditions; onboard access and yard authorization would still require their own review.

Can a cleaning rate be quoted for a full deck?

No measured rate for an identified deck coating is available. Request recorded area and work-stage timings before making a project estimate.
